First Responders Technology Limited having a principal place of business at 22B Old Hope Road, Kingston 5, Jamaica, WI (hereinafter, referred to as “we”, “our, “us”) collects from the individual user (hereinafter, referred to as “you” or “your”) certain information through the mobile application ‘ FIRST ALERT’ (hereinafter, referred to as the “App”). This Privacy Policy contains our policies and procedures governing the collection and handling of information that identifies an individual user or that could be used to contact or locate him or her (hereinafter, referred to as “Personal Information”). This Privacy Policy applies only to the App and our company website www.getfirstalert.com It does not apply to any other Applications or websites.
1.1 The App may contain online forms that ask users to provide their names, mailing addresses, credit card numbers and email addresses.
2.1 We use your Personal Information to deliver the First Alert service to you.
3.1 In addition, we may collect other information, such as browser types, operating systems, and the URL addresses of websites clicked to and from the App.
4.1 We collect the information mentioned in Section 3 in order to analyze what kind of users are navigating the app, in order to drive the development of updates based on user needs.
5.1 We employ information security tools to protect Personal Information collected by us. However, even with the use of such tools, we cannot guarantee the security of Personal Information. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that we make no such guarantee, and that your use of the App is at your own risk.

Those contractors assist us with the maintenance of the App. All those contractors are required to sign contracts in which they promise to protect Personal Information using procedures reasonably equivalent to ours. We also may disclose Personal Information to attorneys, collection agencies, or law enforcement authorities to address potential privacy violations, or illegal behavior. And we disclose any information demanded in a court order or otherwise required by law or to prevent imminent harm to persons or property.

8.1 We may change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a new version within the App. The new version will become effective on the date it is posted.
9.1 We will retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
